Hi, my name is Seth and five years ago I started at Kramer's Forest Products! I started out working from my house hand peeling white cedar railings. I was age 15 at the time. I quickly began enjoying perfecting the cedar railings into a quality product.
I worked up to a full-time hand peeler, quickly moving into a saw mill operator and assistant along with also being loader/forklift operator. Recently, I've become head of the maintenance department where I employ my skills as a metalworker, welder, and mechanic.

I started as a part-time peeler and forklift operator in late 2000. Then went full-time in 2008 as a peeler and yard manager in 2011. The company purchased its first wood-miser sawmill and I was assigned to learn and perfect the art of sawing timber.
Working here is like no other job out there. You are doing something new every day, meeting new clients, and helping them find that perfect bar top or a mantel or even just a beam for their new dream home.

I founded Kramer Forest Products in 1980 after a career working in the woods harvesting timber. As a lumberjack, I learned the secrets or the forest and of the hardwood and softwood species growing there, along with gaining knowledge of best practices in harvesting, grading and preparing high-quality timber for the market.
Since starting Kramer Forest Products, I have been dedicated to taking the highest quality timbers provided by well-managed North American forests and turning them into finely crafted timber products for log homes, fine timber furniture and commercial installations.
We specialize in many species of timbers here, milled at our location in Springstead, Wisconsin by our skilled team of craftsmen, often customized to order for the special applications needed by our customers.
We offer special expertise in many species of wood, but especially in white pine, Douglas fir and cedar, three species in high demand for their many fine qualities.
I travel throughout the United States and Canada to hand select only the absolute best wood timbers.
